Middle-schooler Dory is terrified of a reality that exists outside of her control. As she navigates her first period,  a secret crush, and a spiraling family life, Dory chases the promise of one perfect dream she had. Convinced her dream was prophetic, she tries to make it come true—but the harder she chases fantasy, the more her reality unravels around her.
